Thiourea, i.e. SC (NH2) 2, is a white and shiny crystal, which is used in organic synthesis, manufacture of drugs, resins, compression molding powder, dyes or dyeing auxiliaries, as a color developing agent in photography, or as a plating solution, and as a fertilizer in agriculture.

Thiourea sublimation at 150-160℃ under vacuum, decomposition at higher temperature, and release toxic gases such as nitrogen and sulfur oxides. It is flammable in case of open fire and high heat. Strong reaction with oxidant.
